New review article published about Infrared Thermography and influence factors. Some of the members of TERMOINEF have recently published a new JCR scientific article in Infrared and Physics Technology journal. The publication focuses on the lack of information about the factors influencing the use of Infrared Thermography in humans, and proposes a comprehensive classification in three primary groups: environmental, individual and technical factors.

This review article is specially interesting: not only because it proposes a common framework for further investigations in the field of Infrared Thermography; but because it summarizes published results and identifies areas requiring further research. The application of Infrared Thermography in humans is a field requiring a lot of scientific work, and this publication represents a remarkable milestone to reinforce and improve the future application of this technology in humans.

Europa Thermohuman ThermoHuman has had the support of the Funds of the European Union and the Community of Madrid through the Operational Programme on Youth Employment. Likewise, ThermoHuman within the framework of the Export Initiation Program of ICEX NEXT, had the support of ICEX and the co-financing of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

CDTI Thermohuman has received funding from the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), in participation with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), for the R+D activities involved in creating a new tool, based on thermography, for the prediction and prevention of rheumatoid arthritis.
