Since last february, ThermoHuman has become a bronze sponsor for the National Strenght & Conditioning Association (NSCA Spain), merging the investigation in sports thermography together with NSCA’s expertise in training & physical conditioning formation. The NSCA advances the strenght and conditioning profession by supporting strength and conditioning professionals devoted to helping others discover and maximize their strengths. They disseminate research-based knowledge and its practical application by offering industry-leading certifications, research journals, career development services, and continuing education opportunities.

Mr. Ismael Parrilla, Director General at NSCA Spain states the “at NSCA Spain we are extremely proud of collaborating with an investigation program created in the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Madrid”.

NSCA Spain is a branch of the prestigious american society NSCA, in charge of all the spanish certification and recertification procedures and courses. It manages the two main international certifications in physical training: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS), and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT).

NSCA’s certifiction in Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) is aimed at thouse proffessionals of physical activity and sports sciences which work face to face  with sedentary or phisically active clients, with the goal of enhancing their health and physical condition.

PhD Ismael Fernández Cuevas, co-founder at thermoHuman, affirms: “We feel proud and honoured by associating to a brand such as NSCA Spain, and we are looking forward to introduce the many uses of infrared thermography in sports injury prevention and workload quantification”.

Europa Thermohuman ThermoHuman has had the support of the Funds of the European Union and the Community of Madrid through the Operational Programme on Youth Employment. Likewise, ThermoHuman within the framework of the Export Initiation Program of ICEX NEXT, had the support of ICEX and the co-financing of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

CDTI Thermohuman has received funding from the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), in participation with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), for the R+D activities involved in creating a new tool, based on thermography, for the prediction and prevention of rheumatoid arthritis.
