On November 26th, our CEO and co-founder, Ismael Fernández Cuevas, was quoted alongside other professionals in the field by the newspaper El País to share his opinion. The article addresses the controversy surrounding football competition schedules.

In summary, science aims to bring order and method into play through practices such as load control and technologies like thermography and metabolic tests. The importance of combating fatigue through training, sleep, and recovery is emphasized, though it becomes a challenge in seasons with frequent matches. Emerging technologies such as thermography allow for the anticipation of injuries by detecting asymmetries in skin temperature, while metabolic tests are positioned as valuable tools for assessing athletes’ performance.
