El Club de Fútbol Pachuca, one of the most successful and pioneering clubs in Mexico's Liga MX, has incorporated ThermoHuman technology into its physical preparation, injury prevention, and training load monitoring protocols.
By leveraging infrared thermography and ThermoHuman’s automated thermal analysis software, the "Tuzos" technical and medical staff receive critical real-time data to assess the neuromuscular status of their squad.
ThermoHuman technology enables the staff to monitor how each player's body responds to the high demands of training and competition. As Gabriel Montoya, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at CF Pachuca, explains:
"We integrate this tool into our prevention and load monitoring structure. Combined with GPS data, thermography allows us to understand how external workloads translate internally within each athlete's body."
The club’s protocol relies on a Plug & Play infrared camera system seamlessly connected to the ThermoHuman online platform:
The main objective of this partnership is to minimize injury risk and optimize training individualization.
"Thanks to this infrared technology, we have managed to significantly reduce player injury rates, giving the technical staff greater availability of the full squad", emphasizes Montoya.
At ThermoHuman, we are thrilled to collaborate with a top-tier institution like CF Pachuca in their commitment to sports science, innovation, and elite performance technology.
